Welcome to my platform Huskies & Malamutes- Adopt a Rescue! Unfortunately, this is not a rescue organization but rather a central location to educate, provide resources about various husky/malamute rescue organizations, and to promote 4 key points (learn, donate, foster, adopt). First and foremost, I would like to highlight the 63 husky and 21 malamute rescue organizations throughout the U.S who work endlessly in providing a better life for huskies and malamutes in rescue.
At an international level, there are 14 husky and malamute rescue organizations throughout 8 countries! Click on the Husky, Malamute, and International tab to learn more about a specific organization and view their available huskies/malamutes who are ready for their forever home.

Life is a journey of missions. An overall mission of pursuing things that we love where the mind and heart work torwards a cause that brings happiness. Adopting my husky, Chico, led me to create my personal platform, Huskies & Malamutes-Adopt a Rescue and rally behind 4 key points (learn, donate, foster, adopt). My Platform
I've always been fond of huskies and malamutes and wanted one since I can remember. However, as a child you don't always get what you want. Bummer. Fast forward to adulthood that comes with choices and responsibility. There I was on December 9th, 2013 with Chico's leash in one hand and adoption papers in the other. Walked outside of the Idaho Humane Society and said to myself, "congratulations I officially became a parent." Yikes!
What I love most about my platform is being able to expand by scope of work to support and network with other amazing organizations. Below are some of my favorites!
